Briefly Responding to Chris Matthews

On Friday, MSNBC’s resident delusional Democrat Chris Matthews interviewed RNC chair Reince Priebus.  During the interview, media site Mediaite notes that “a blustery Matthews was screaming for him to admit that President Obama had ‘walked into hell’ (a comment that sounded a bit more crazy than Matthews seemed to think it was).”

If you feel like it, you can watch the full segment here.  Below is my brief response to Mr. Matthews’ claim.

President Obama didn’t walk into hell.  A full four months after taking office, the recession officially ended and the so-called “recovery” began.  Mr. Obama should be getting undeserved credit right now for a great economic recovery.

But instead of allowing the private sector to boom, Mr. Obama and his minions in Congress killed the economy with mountains of new regulations and trillions in new debt.  Make no mistake about it, Mr. Matthews,  the guy that gives you a tingle up your leg is giving business owners and productive citizens sharp pains in their chests.

The President has failed, but I don’t expect Chris Matthews to admit it.  He’d rather yell at  Reince Priebus and give his MSNBC audience what they want.
